Terms of Use
Vema · August 8, 2026
By downloading or using Vema (the “App”), published by Sedens Ago, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Licence
Sedens Ago grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store rules.
Health disclaimer
Vema runs maximal exercise tests. Efforts of this kind carry risk. It is your responsibility to make sure your health allows it and, if in any doubt, or with a cardiac history, ongoing treatment or a long break from training, to seek medical advice first. The App is not a medical device: it makes no diagnosis and detects no abnormality. Stop immediately if you feel pain, faintness or unusual breathlessness. Use at your own risk.
Nature of the values shown
The maximal aerobic speed and VO2max displayed are estimates derived from equations validated on populations, not laboratory measurements. The App marks every value as measured, estimated or corrected, together with its confidence. Suggested training paces are indicative and bind only whoever chooses to follow them.
No warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sedens Ago shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, injury, loss or accident arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
Third-party hardware
Speed accuracy depends on the treadmill used, whose calibration and maintenance are outside Sedens Ago's control. Third-party heart-rate sensors are the responsibility of their own manufacturers.
App Store
Your use is also subject to Apple's standard end-user licence agreement (EULA).
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
