This policy explains how the Vema app, published by Sedens Ago, handles your information. In short: Vema makes no network calls at all. There is no account, no server, no advertising and no tracker.

Nothing collected, nothing sent

Vema creates no account, uses no analytics or advertising, and sends no data to Sedens Ago or anyone else. The app opens no outbound connection: there is no server that could store your information.

Your tests

Results, stages, heart rate, notes and session context are stored on your device. They stay there and are removed with the app.

Heart rate

Heart rate comes from your Bluetooth sensor, your Apple Watch or the Health app. It is displayed during the test and kept locally along with a record of where it came from. Vema never writes a heart rate to Health that it did not measure itself, precisely so it cannot duplicate what your watch or band already recorded.

Health (HealthKit)

With your permission, Vema saves each test as an indoor running workout, with distance and estimated VO2max. It reads your heart-rate data over the test window to fill in an incomplete series. These exchanges happen on the device, between Vema and the Health app: nothing goes to the internet, and Sedens Ago has no access to any of it.

Bluetooth

Vema connects to a standard Bluetooth heart-rate sensor. The link is direct, device to sensor, with nothing in between.

Apple Watch

Measurements from the watch reach the iPhone over the local link between your two devices. They pass through no server.

Children

Vema is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data about them.
